Objectives

The Council believes that the AIMS OF THE ASSOCIATION must be simple and concentrated on THE PROTECTION OF RETIREMENT BENEFITS.

In support of this primary objective our priorities are;

• TO GROW THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE ASSOCIATION to achieve credibility and ensure that our voice is heard
• TO MAINTAIN AN INFRASTRUCTURE WHICH FACILITATES EASY COMMUNICATION WITH MEMBERS
• To have a Council which is REPRESENTATIVE OF THE MEMBERSHIP
• To keep abreast of DEVELOPMENTS IN THE COMPANY, PENSIONS LEGISLATION AND THE PENSIONS PROTECTION FUND

More information is available from the internet web site at www.lucaspensioners.org.uk or www.trwpensioners.org.uk This provides a convenient, quick and cheap means of the Association communicating with its members and members communicating with the Association and each other.

We can also communicate with members by post and this together with the local pensioner groups and the network of personal contacts is key to us in growing the membership of the Association.
